I'm looking for ways to mount my projector on a vaulted ceiling.? - ceiling fan vaulted ceiling

The problem is that I do not know to what extent the thickness of the roof. Is not sure breaking the ceiling - like the vaulted ceiling, has no space between the roof and ceiling.
