Genetics - it's recessive on the X and males only have 1 X. Now a females can have Hemophilia they just "need" 2 recessive X(and that is more dificult to do.)

Hemophilia is a sex-linked disease X. This means that if a woman, a gene for hemophilia, which conceal a gene for a woman to inherit hemophilia. It is transported as one that could happen to a child. In men, they get one X and one Y chromosome, if X is hemophilia, an X-healthy "cover" and thus encodes the disease develops. If a developing inhert Male X 2 bad genes for diseases, it is possible, but most people do not live long enough to reproduce and thus pass on their genes, "bad".
